Sesame Sweet Potato Wedges

Sesame Sweet Potato Wedges are an easy side dish with very minimal steps. We love them because they're a great option for our vegan and vegetarian members and can be easily paired with anything on our Asian Week Menu!

These sweet potatoes get roasted in brown sugar and savory sesame oil for the ultimate sweet and savory experience. Enjoy them at your dinner table tonight using Chef Maggie's full recipe below!

Sesame Sweet Potato Wedges

SERVES  4 SERVINGS

COOK TIME  30 MINS

 

Ingredients
 
Sweet Potatoes - Wedges 1 1/2 lb
Sunflower Oil 1 1/2 tbsp
Sesame Seed Oil 1/2 tbsp
Light Brown Sugar 1/2 tbsp
Granulated Garlic 1 tsp
Kosher Salt 1 tsp
White Sesame Seeds 1 tsp
 
Directions
 
1. Preheat oven 375 ̊
 
2. Toss sweet potato wedges with sunflower oil, sesame oil, brown sugar, granulated garlic,
salt and sesame seeds in large bowl.
 
3. Place potatoes on parchment lined sheet pan in even layers (do not over crowd).
 
4. Roast for 15 minutes then turn pans and roast for another 15 minutes. Potatoes should have some color. Enjoy!
