Korean-Style Chili Flakes

Red Chili Flakes
3 tbsp
Whole Cinnamon

Directions
1. Add oil to a medium pot. Turn heat to medium-high.
2. Add cinnamon, cloves, star anise, shallots, and garlic to the pot of oil, then bring it to just about a boil.
3. Meanwhile, mix together both types of chili flakes in a medium heat-safe bowl. Once your oil is ready, pour it over the bowl through a strainer. Mix together.
