Korean Ground Chicken

With just a few ingredients and a little of your time, you can use this chicken with plenty of delicious dishes.

We tried it on rice noodles, on top of rice, and in lettuce wraps and they were all a hit! Can't decide which to add it to? Have all three prepared and try a bit of each!

Korean Ground Chicken
Ground Chicken 1 lb
Bosc Pear 1 each
Brown Sugar 2 tbsp
Soy Sauce 1/3 cup
Sesame Oil 1 tsp
Rice Wine Vinegar 1 tsp
Chili Flakes 1 tsp
Garlic - minced 5 cloves
Ginger - minced 1 tbsp
 
Directions

 

1. Make your marinade: Whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, chili flakes, garlic, grated pear, and ginger in a bowl.
 
2. Saute ground chicken: In a cast-iron skillet, or your skillet of choice, brown the ground chicken in a tablespoon of olive oil.

  • 3. Once browned, add the marinade. Let it cook for 2 minutes, then add edamame. Once the sauce has thickened up and coated the chicken, it's done! Add it to noodles, rice, or Bibb lettuce, and enjoy!
