Passover Haroset

Chag Sameach and Happy Passover to those who are celebrating this evening!

Our Project Manager, Becky, is sharing her favorite Passover recipe for Haroset with you. This spread is a pastelike mixture of fruit, nuts, cinnamon, and liqueur eaten during her seder meal on the Passover - served with matzoh. 👇

SERVES  4 CUPS

Passover Haroset
 
Almond Paste 1 1/2 cups
Pitted Dates - Chopped 10 oz
Figs - Chopped 12 oz
Poppy Seeds 2 tbsp
Almonds - Chopped 1/2 cup
Pine Nuts 1/2 cup
Orange Zest 1 orange, grated
Honey 1 tbsp
Dried Apricots 1/4 cup
Golden Raisins 1/2 cup
Brandy 1/2 cup
 
Directions

 

1. Add all ingredients to a food processor except orange zest, poppy seeds, almond paste, and brandy.
 
2. Once everything comes together add those last four ingredients. It should have a pasty texture.
 
3. Serve with matzoh and enjoy!
